Nelcast, a TS 16949 Company, has for the past
two decades, followed the strategy of developing access
to and provide castings of varied nature, in large volumes
to bridge standards of quality, to a broad group of
value oriented customers, both in India and abroad.
Its clientele presently include Ashok Leyland, Automotive
Axles, Axles India, Arvin Meritor, Dobbie Dieco, Eicher
Motors, M & M, Rane Group, Sigma, Tata Motors, TAFE,
ZF Lemforder, ZF Steering etc. The list of customers
is steadily lengthening.
Consequent upon the trust placed by its illustrious
customers, Nelcast, has been steadily increasing its
production capacity and casting output and widening
the products range. It plans to raise capacity to 1,00,000
MT per annum by 2007 and 1,50,000 MT by 2008 dedicating
one third of this capacity to Exports. Nelcast views
exports as a tool to fine horn its technological talents
and heighten its competitiveness while moving its products
up the value chain.
The steady increase in output and delivery, the growing
stress on incremental quality, the compulsions of just-in-time
delivery and speedy product development, are all throwing
challenges to the Nelcast team and offering it new opportunities
to compete, succeed and lead. The stresses of rapid
growth coupled with escalating quality standards have
only strengthened Nelcast’s resolve and innate
ability to meet customer demands and secure customer
satisfaction.
